Nighthawks are in town!

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety recently presented the Georgia Department of Public Safety a $2.37 million (yes, MILLION) grant so it could continue to fund the GSP Nighthawks DUI Task Force.

The Nighthawks are a group of highly trained DUI officers with Georgia State Patrol that specifically enforce Georgia DUI laws. I have worked with many of the Nighthawks over the years and I can tell you that they stay very busy.

What does this mean for GA drivers? You should expect increased DUI investigations in Metro Atlanta as well as the other areas they cover. I have had quite a few DUI cases made by Nighthawks here in Roswell, GA and surrounding areas. More money equals more DUI patrols!
