Eat, drink, eat, repeat.

Spring is (finally!) here. Time to enjoy the glorious rays of sunshine, beautiful flowers, and FESTIVALS! I am a sucker for a good festival. Luckily for you, the North Fulton area is home to a few gems and I am here to give you the scoop. And without further ado:

This week I am highlighting Alive in Roswell. This event combines Alive after 5 (Historic Canton Street) and Alive at the Square (Historic Roswell Square) from years past. Picture it: all the food, drink and shopping you can handle in a four hour window. The event gets started at 5 and winds down at 9. There is a free trolley service that will take you from the parking areas and from venue to venue. All restaurants are open and there are also food trucks galore. Adult beverages are available for purchase and (bonus) you can take them to go while you walk around. Vendors of all types will be set up to sell their services, wares and political ideas.

Who remembers the Elect ME table from 2014??

Fun times, but I digress. Anywho…

The streets are blocked off, but can get very crowded due to pedestrian traffic– bring your patience! The crowd is lively–expect live music, dancing, and a good time all around. One year I even saw a marriage proposal! A word to the wise: police presence is strong at Alive in Roswell, so be on your best behavior. Police presence is even stronger after the event is over…I am talking DUI City. My advice: have a DD or your Uber app handy if you happen to get “overserved.”

Alive in Roswell will take place every 3rd Thursday, rain or shine, April-October. See you there!
